“I guess, I mean if I see that Gabby doesn’t like them, I’ll ask Parvati to stop, I just kind of what her to do it herself, but like I said, that might not happen.” Taylor shrugged, “How does Liyah take to the clothing?”
“Then I guess they all were just having a little too much fun today in the playroom?” Shavari smiled watching Sage and watching Alliyah cling around Karim’s neck a little bit more, turning her head to find the next comfortable placement on his shoulder. “The girls really adore you two.”

“Alliyah likes dressing up. She could deal without some of those patterns she’s given, but other than that I think she actually likes them … That is probably the one thing that her and I don’t share,” Allison laughed a little bit, causing Kellan to stir in Allison’s arms a little bit, but quickly find a comfortable spot once more.

The twins both looked at the clock to make note of the time between the contractions just in case, then back at their sister at the same time.
“I think Noah was the only one up, he might be asleep by now, though.” Kamil answered.

“Gabby likes to do whatever will make everyone else happy, so if she genuinely likes the clothing we’ll never really know.” Taylor shrugged, “Sage likes whatever will bring her attention, and some of those patterns definitely bring her a lot of attention.”
“Does he sleep well at night?”

“Well then if Gabby doesn’t say anything, I guess Parvati could be making her clothes for a while longer, huh?” Allison wrinkled her nose. “Dunno how long Alliyah will let her do that for her …”

“Well it was good with keeping her comfortable I suppose…I guess it was also good for keeping calm and not worrying constantly about the pain.” Karim answered, adjusting Liyah on his hip.

“Well then I’d say that’s a good thing.” Taylor said, shaking her head, “If I could keep the woman busy with making those things for years I would…but Sage is definitely the last, and I know once she and Gabby are around nine or ten they’re going to want their grandmother to quit making dresses and other things for them…God forbid she actually gets to leotards.”
Shavari nodded slowly once more, going over a list of what her brothers had said about their wives to remember later, but then shrugged. She was glad she had people her age in her family having experience with both options, and she made sure to make a mental note to go over them once more closer to time.
Not even a moment later did she wrinkle her nose from a contraction. “Ooh,” she winced slightly, shifting a little bit and glancing at the clock to make note before looking back to her brothers.
A soft laugh escaped her as Shavari glanced over Sage and Alliyah. “Are all of the children sleeping?”

“Well she hadn’t been to a birthing class since Isaac so we found one to find a few techniques that might have changed. They preached a few things about natural births and Taylor decided to give it a try, I guess it says something that she got an epidural for the next one.”

“Good for you, Danh,” Taylor grinned, “And don’t worry about Parvati, just tell her she gets to make more onsies and maybe she’ll keep her mouth shut.” she laughed.
“Do you think the epidural was a good idea, Karim? For Allison too?”

Danhya rolled her eyes with a slight smile, while Allison laughed a little bitterly and shook her head.
“Keep Mum quiet by letting her create even more baby clothing. Honestly, I’m surprised she isn’t tired with all of this yet.”
“Maybe it does actually keep her calm or something …?” Allison raised an eyebrow and questioned. “Not saying I care really; they’re still hideous and she’s rather pushy about them, but maybe it keeps her … not so ‘Parvati’ in a way.”

“You could, like I said, no need to worry right now.” Karim said.
“Taylor was…irritable, but we were able to keep her as comfortable as possible…of course she was back to the epidural once Sage was born, but she got through the natural birth.” Kamil said, hoping he sounded convincing.

Taylor smiled, “Congratulations! And what a day to find out.” she laughed.
Shavari nodded slowly, “Why’d she choose to have a natural birth in the first place?”

“That’s fantastic, Danh,” Allison grinned back, adjusting Kellan in her arms a little bit. “Who’s the father?”
“Thanks, guys. Actually, the father was anonymous. I asked for certain features and they went off of that-“
“Wait,” Allison interrupted. “So you did go to a cryobank? When was this? Who else knows?”
“I wanted it to be a surprise,” Danhya nodded. “I wanted to make sure that everything worked out before I told anyone. I didn’t want to get my hopes up either by telling everyone … I just can’t believe it actually worked! I know Mum’s going to have a field day about it, so I’m not telling her until Shavari’s alright and a little while after Maina arrives.”
“And now the boys will have yet another woman to pace over,” Allison laughed faintly. “But it’s very funny that all of this is happening today, yes.”

Taylor raised an eyebrow, not wanting to assume the wrong thing. She leaned forward and tightened her grip around Gabrielle so the girl didn’t fall. “Danhya…are you…?”
Shavari smiled a bit and laughed faintly, “It’s just all of the risks that are brought with epidurals and all. I mean, as I said, I know Taylor and Allie had no problems with theirs, but …” She shrugged after a pause, “I guess I can change my mind once everything moves farther along, right?”
The woman glanced from Heera, back to Karim, and then to Kamil. “How was Taylor during Gabby’s birth?”

Allison’s gaze bounced from Danhya to Taylor once she spoke again. Danhya went to the doctor’s, but she couldn’t have had anything contagious. She was rather happy, but rushed toward the bathroom like she was about to be sick.
Her eyebrows raised at the thought. Or was it just the excitement of being in the pregnancy ward with their children and another on the way from their sister-in-law that made the thought come to mind? Danhya didn’t even have a boyfriend let alone husband.
Then again, for years Danhya never cared about a male figure; it was all just when she herself was ready …
Danhya looked up to Allison and Taylor with the bright grin she greeted them with downstairs and blurted out, “I’m pregnant.”

“You’ll be fine Vari, are you going to have a natural birth or are you asking for an epidural? And there are plenty of techniques to try and rid you of pain. Taylor went through a natural birth with Gabby, I still remember some things.” Kamil said, trying to reassure his sister.
“We’re all here as distractions, so just focus on us.” Karim nodded.

Taylor looked up at her sister in law and frowned, “Maybe you should sit.” She suggested as she pointed to the empty seat next to Allison. “We don’t need you ending up in a hospital bed too.”
“I’ve thought long and hard about that, and I think I’ll be having a natural birth …” Shavari bit her lip and thought the decision over once more before nodding and moving on. “I know Taylor and Allie were fine with their epidurals, but …”

Danhya glanced between the two, and then went to go sit down.
“I’m fine,” she said. “Promise.”
“What’s wrong? You said you had a doctor’s appointment today. You can’t be contagious or they wouldn’t let you up here, so …”
Danhya licked and bit her lips together with a smile slowly pushing through.

“Oh yeah, Divination, and all that.” Kamil nodded.
“Well let’s hope that she doesn’t take too long.” Karim said.
“Heera was telling me that Arun took a few days after she went into labor.”
“It’s normal for a mother’s firstborn to take longer than usual,” Heera nodded.
“Hopefully the worst of the pain doesn’t last just long,” Shavari glanced back to her brothers with a slightly worried look.

As the boys were still in the room, Danhya walked slowly back over to where Allison and Taylor were from the bathroom. Allison had Kellan sleeping in her lap, while Kamal sat beside her with his head against her and her arm around him.
“Danhya, you okay?” Allison questioned with a furrowed brow. “You don’t look so good.”

Once the elevator was back, the twins stepped in with their daughters still sound asleep in their arms and waited for it to reach the third floor. Once it did, the two stepped off and waited for Danhya to lead the way.
Arun’s father joined the group only moments before the elevator opened to show Karim and the others.
Once Allison saw Karim, she met him and said softly, “Apparently she’s still not dilated very much … it could take a while. They aren’t doing much with her at the moment, so she’s just sitting in there.” As she spoke, she walked along with the rest of the group to a waiting area near Shavari’s room. “They’re allowing a few people to go in and see her at a time if you wanted to go. I can watch these three … like there’s any real watching, anyway, hm?” Allison laughed faintly.
“I’ll … be right back,” Danhya mentioned to the group and turned to make her way swiftly to the bathroom. As she passed 317, she pointed and said, “There’s her room, though.”
